Everyone's comparing these guys to Windhand - and that's fair - but if that's all you're getting out of Dayburner you're not letting it consume you fully! You must drink from the seas of reverb, allow the black haze to overtake you, and bask in the pale spectral glow!

"The Catanians Haunted sail in the sea of a deadly and occult doom, whose serious and composed style can bring them closer to that of Windhand. Led by the enigmatic witch Cristina Chimirri, who in some ways can be compared to Jex Thoth, but more inclined to chant quiet and mortal litanies, Haunted must be listened in religious concentration and carefully, because there is always something unexpected behind their monolithic sound. For example, in a track like Orphic, which at a certain point it changes its register and becomes slow, very slow, completely transfiguring. Another evocative track is Vespertine, that has something of Latin in it. This monolithic doom procession is sealed by Lunar Grave, almost entirely instrumental, pure funerary elevation with poignant force."
